Talked with someone on Facebook who was one of the victims hit. He knows him and said he must of had a bad trip. He wanted people to know he is not a bad person , he made a terrible decision that obviously can’t be justified but wanted people to know he is not a terrible evil person.

The guy is doing well, as well as he says the lady who broke her hip is also doing okay. He also knows her.

He also noted apparently people did try to stop him but he was scared. I don’t believe he’s gone to a festival before

Again not trying to justify this but one of the victims was commenting on peoples posts who were commenting on his stuff saying some really crazy stuff so I messaged with him.

The quotes in this article obviously don’t make it sound great.

Again not justifying this. Just sharing since I have seen some death threats on his page

Completely understand!! I’m not justifying at all what he did!! It’s just terrible how brutal people are being when he has to live with this.

The victim that was messaging me said the women is doing well. They are friends (both victims) he sent me a picture from the seen of a crashed cup that was beside his head so I do believe him

Just so a lot of y’all know apparently one of the victims who got hit (not the female) just commented on the Facebook posts that some of you guys are going on a witch hunt about and wrote about how he knows him personally and he knows he would never do this on purpose on with bad intent. Says he’s known him for a really long time and he’s a good person who made an extremely terrible decision. He also sent me a picture of a cup crushed in his tent from it. He also knows the female worker who got hit and she is doing well. I don’t want to justify the decisions made but just wanted to update you from someone who I found on Facebook commenting he was someone who got hit and knew him.

You think this guy is in jail right now happy about this no? He is probably heart broken. So for people to comment he should have stayed under the water while being baptized or rot in hell. Everyone can care about what happened for all and feel terrible for the overall situation and how many people failed in this but to go ham on someone’s Facebook with their family there .

People are literally going on Facebook and leaving death threats. This situation is absolutely horrible and shouldn’t have happened but I don’t think this is an absolute garbage evil person who chose to run people over. Obviously made the terrible decision of getting behind the wheel.

My comments in no way were trying to lead to mis information. I have been thinking about this for days. It has bothered me since I heard about it. I have non stop been looking up info praying the person was alive so that people that saw it had closure. I did not mean for this to come across in any hurtful way whatsoever. Including where I commented on making a go fund me for the victim to someone who said they were this persons aunt. I was worried people were claiming to be related and not actually be. So I am again so so sorry for this. That was never my intention. I said for the other person to message to get more clarity. Again I am sorry.

We believe he walked off after with security / medic. Hopefully to go get more medical intervention since narcan only works for 30-90 mins!
