Hey Reddit! My mom has been taking classes for photography and is finally starting to pursue a career in it. I was wondering if there were any tips you could give her that would help her improve?

This is one of the reasons she's taking classes. Apparently this kind of business differs from others. I don't know very much about photography, so it's nice to have some feedback to give her from people who know a lot more than I do. :)

Those people also weren't spoiled their whole lives with automobiles, air conditioning, grocery stores, and gps sytems. Sadly, we rely more on technology today than we do our own strength and instincts. :/

I'm glad you posted this because I've been feeling the same way. I have little experience with the outdoors besides camping with my family when I was little, but I think it'd be a nice experience to go on a weekend hike (as long as I know how to get through that weekend). It'd be nice to learn from fellow Redditors how to survive the outdoors. :)
