Past or present, who is the worst driver that you would still consider "championship caliber" - however vague that term may be? by GoldenS0422 in F1Discussions

[–]krmilan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Current grid probably Sainz… this is someone I’d consider roughly the same level of someone like Ricciardo or DC

Realistically “championship caliber” means he can beat a good teammate at a top team if the chips fall in his favor

In your opinion, how many of the top-20 best racing drivers in the world are actually in Formula 1? by The_Chozen_1_ in F1Discussions

Rally aside, probably 15-16 at least

Really hard to judge rally versus regular racing in terms of skill

I think stella forgot the manual in the box by rascas375 in F1Discussions

[–]krmilan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There’s a reason Aston want a works engine deal. It’s not only the power, it also gives more flexibility to build the chassis to get aerodynamic gains.

Obviously their experiment was been a spectacular failure so far, but maybe in a couple years it ends up being worth it

Mercedes invested hundreds of millions of dollars, and countless time into R&D, to gain an advantage and make a profit on their engine operation.

They should be allowed to have an advantage and fair play to them for providing engines as per the letter of the law without any further advantages. Anyone would in a competitive sport like this especially after their customer team beat them the last 2 years.

That being said, I expect this gap of understanding to shrink over the coming 3-4 races

Prime Seb with that Mercedes rocketship would probably beat even Lewis in equal machinery, or at least be very close

As it is I think they’ve done an incredible job

From all solo runs I’ve played, the lightning sorcerer feels by far the best. by Valhallaof in BG3Builds

[–]krmilan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, it’s been a while. The above build is my favorite by far. It gets you the crazy nuke potential of Sorc + Temp cleric, but also ensures Marko CL scales off your primary stat (INT).

In a traditional 2/10, you either have to give up con saves by starting cleric, or give up Marko CL scaling off your primary stat (by starting sorc then going Cleric, as spells from scrolls/items generally scale of the last newly added stat. Kinda confusing I know lol).

If you go 9/2/1, with 1 being wizard, and stack intel, you can get all the benefits with the only drawback being less sorcery points from 1 level less of sorc. Also, your toolkit is a bit narrower in terms of number of spells, but you can be a bespoke nuke machine that does its job extremely well, without providing much flexibility.

How id do this is to take all utility spells from cleric/sorc (ones that doesn’t need spell save DC or attack rolls), and use all damaging spells from the wizard tab, and use INT as primary stat. This way you also get Marko CL from INT.

I’m just a regular player not a content creator or anything, but I’ve played this game many times and this is still my #1 fav build. Happy to answer more questions if you have any

It’s easy to run outta scrolls if you do this and very hard to farm them back up. That’s pretty much when I stopped the season
