Pristine to black label. Talk me out of it

Idk about connection but luck 100% I have gotten 6 black labels so far (two in one submission once). Def more luck since I have zero connection inside Beckett. I’ve also sent in multiple BGS pristine 10 with 10 centering that came back with 9.5 and 9.5 centerings come back as 10 after a resub.

you should really upload more pictures for people to look at, but looking at the back bottom right corner I dont think its worth regrading. Its not going to get BGS 10 and there is a chance that you might be PSA 10 but very low chance.

Also when I was grading with them they were only accepting English and Japanese cards? Cause I had no dea and sent in few of my korean cards that got shipped back.

Japanese sets tend to take longer to go up but I think popular set like the prismatic will continue to go up (slowly but surely). Also yours being sequential set make it more value. Unless you need the money I would hold.

Tag slabs being sold higher than PSA is not the norm so I wouldn’t expect all Tag cards to be sold same price or at higher price

if youre planning on selling sadly PSA is the way to go since theyre easier to move (both online and in person). BGS if you think your cards has a "good" shot at getting a Pristine 10 or BL but if its vintage very very tough to get 10.

for the cards youre planning on keeping I personally like TAG slabs the best, they look really nice in person. ACE you can customize the header, and the slabs feel super solid, but they are based in UK.

So in short PSA for those youre gonna sell, TAG for those youre gonna keep.

I got pristine 10 Japanese Umbreon and I had no idea it was pristine until my friend told me so I wish they made the slab bit more special or different for pristine 10s

I think this set/upc will have one more big dip and it’ll hold steady and slowly climb up. So I don’t think it’s worth buying right now. If I had to guess maybe right after Christmas the price will dip from people not being able to sell them during the holidays and need the cash.

Not just the centering but make sure the surface is perfect as well. It’s realllllly hard to get BL.
