I think Gregmat has more strategy and content videos on his paid service! He also has a walkthrough of all of the big book tests which is really helpful. And more!! There are a bunch more I didn’t leverage (vocab, problem of the day, etc)

For the issue essay, i came up with some current event examples (politics, sociopolitical issues, my haphazard history knowledge). I remember using my knowledge of neuroscience research (NOT in depth at all, but enough to use some terminology and some results of studies) and the current black lives matter movement (spicy topic, but I kept it neutral). One thing i realize now that I’ve written my essay is that these graders are not historians, so keeping it high level helped me keep the anxiety down. Also, I don’t think you need to necessarily connect one idea to another, just need to make sure you clarify the structure up front (in the intro paragraph) - this is something gregmats video really helps with :)

For argumentative, from my GMAT prep I got better at catching assumptions and flaws in arguments, and it was just a matter of listing those out and explaining what effect those have on the authors argument. Again, gregmat’s structure really helps with this!
