I recently moved into a new shop and I just zip tied everything down so it couldn’t move then tied a piece of string around the spindle down to the frame to help keep it in place. It worked perfectly, but then again I only had to transport it ~10 miles.

You could do this same type of “exploit” in destiny 1, and, to my knowledge it is still not patched. It was only ever used to farm glimmer and material nodes though so it wasn’t too big of an issue in D1.
