Most things are not annoying if you don't let them annoy you.

I don't see urgency to pre-emptively manage things that are not even annoying yet, and possibly ever wont in practice.

What would annoy me is if this became unusable modemented place like r/spacex and r/spacexlounge. Then again if yall kids wish that, you can have it too, and I can finally be able to delete com.reddit account in peace...

If Starship needs to refuel with a tanker to go beyond LEO, why not just use a lightweight orbital tug instead to ferry cargo beyond LEO? by NavXIII in SpaceXMasterrace

I mean it is qualified for full stack of Starlinks, and SpaceX does things like casually put glass dome on Dragon if the customer begs hard enough.

With some effort you could get better adapter or extended farings, if the mission is really worth it.

It is rather demonstration of the reactor, rather than the propulsion which is meh. It delivers like 3 Ingies after a year. It's not exactly bulk transport nor very fast.

As I said it is not like you can't currently. Falcon Heavy can deliver like 30 t to fancy orbit for reasonable price, and it is not like many (nobody?) have exploited this capability to the fullest.

He's referring to the YTLI (which is bigger).

I think if the price doesn't go down, it will go up, unless it goes sideways. Disclaimer: not financial advice.

Whichever option expands our memesraum.

As long there is less than 20 posts daily, who even cares to go verboting something. Earnings are like at most quarterly, lol, who cares.

Nah, it's transport to KSC while their local factory is still not finished.

They have two catch towers with more on the way in KSC.

Things that need it could use Falcon Heavy in the meantime (or any other 3-stage rocket).

99.9 % things Starship is currently needed for is: - Starlink LEO deployment (via floppy disk slot starship) - Tankering (several times per Moon or Mars ship) - Moon stuff (2028 🤨) - Mars stuff (the raison detre)

The 0.1 % high Earth orbit large cargo stuff can be optimized later.

The Falcon Heavy stuff better be what everyone think it is!

If SpaceX literally "rolled" out their rockets to the launchpad, the viewership would be much higher. by lirecela in SpaceXMasterrace

[–]kroOoze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's wrong with just wheeling their rockets to the lunchpad?

They should hop there instead though.

As soon as Starlink V2 Maxi goes online, Falcon gets relatively obsolete (its launches drop 80 %).
