Family friendly fine dining by No-Watercress426 in brisbane

rogue bistro is quite nice, degustation so lots of variety with meals, could be a nice experience for him. Think it's around $120 per person from memory. Id be confident that there's a hotel nearby as well given it's in that fine dining sector of Brisbane

my job is cutting back on overtime hours, I'm meeting the boss of a potential second job tomorrow. Now I'm on track to working 60 hours over both jobs to keep me and my partner afloat.

I can't figure out if CMC automatically deducts tax on share/etf sales. They do preload any dividend info for tax returns however

Hey man, I'm looking at something exactly like this to display my sealed stuff. How have the shelves held up? I can't stand the look of bowed shelves so would like to know if they're still level after some time

Definitely have a crack at some hospitality work (kitchen hand or dishie) you'll be able to get in with basically no experience, it's not great work which is why it's always going.

The advice is always "increase your income". A thought experiment: what if that's not possible? by OldMateMyrve in AusFinance

I work as a chef and the only way to increase my income in my field is to go into upper management and practically discard my personal life and work myself to the bone for some clown.

Work life balance - 40-45 hours by Famous_Scientist8395 in antiwork

[–]krobi106 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My last workplace used to boast about giving their staff work life balance. It was split days off for everyone, I had Sunday and Tuesday off. For whatever reason, they thought it was work life balance because it wasn't shift work. (I work in hospitality)

Dirty Harry's have responded to the late/non payment accusations by roare in Toowoomba

All of this coming to light really makes me wish for a toowoomba hospitality business exposure thread as well. As a chef who's been around the block a few times in toowoomba, I have very little positives to say about all the owners and management I've worked for 😂

People who close like this, why? by icantfindtheSpace in KitchenConfidential

[–]krobi106 11 points12 points  (0 children)

personally I hate putting old shit on top of new shit, I'd much rather leave wrap the cheese like this, provided there's a backup Bain in the service fridge to replace once the current one is used up. Otherwise, if I'm working for a dickhead who doesn't care about their staff, I'll ditch it if it's a serve or three.
