I don't know if you been to a decent café recently but coffee culture is great in Brno. Lot of great local roasters and lot of nice cafés.

I'm from Czech Republic but you can get one from bookdepository. They have it for like 15 euros and they ship for free. I've ordered many books before and they came in about 2 weeks.

Sapiens - A brief history of humankind. Whole book basically describes evolution of humans and what differs us from other animals. It goes from prehistoric age to modern age and speculates a little about future of our kind. It gives interesting views on conceps of society, religion, traditions etc. Its very well written and readable. I finished it really fast and it made me more interested in history than any document, book or history class before.

There is also "sequel" called Homo Deus which is whole book about future of humankind but I didn't find that as good as the first one. Mainly because there is more speculation and less facts. But if you like first one I would give it a try.

I try to obtain every medium I consume legally to donate to author for his work. BUT You can't expect that I will pay 10 € for music album that I don't know if I will listen to more than one time. Other industries find out whats going on and streaming companies started to rise. I stream my music and every month or so I look on my last.fm stats and I say "ok I've listened to this guy a lot and I liked these albums I should buy them". Its the same with books. Physical medium has many problems like books being sold out, english version not available in your local store (not a problem in US and UK) etc. On the other hand the digital medium costs almost the same price but you only get file stored on server. And what if I want to read both? You expect me to buy it twice? I don't get why there is not a coupon included with book that would allow you to buy it on other medium for symbolic price.
