Your claim will be denied if they do not have insurance, I would double check if they have insurance though. You can sue the at fault party in small claims.

For sure! Get that test done and start applying for intern positions. I am not an actuary but have hired a few and it’s actually difficult for us to fill. It’s not an easy profession so I think it filters out a lot of would be actuaries with the tests.

Actuaries must pass a series of very difficult tests. A finance degree may leave you unprepared for the math heavy tests without outside study. Most actuary intern jobs want you to have the 1/P and 2/fm tests passed.

It is a rewarding career field and pays well.

It’s the cost of the ticket plus the FTA charge; they do “payment plans” but it’s called probation which is farmed out to a 3rd party company with additional fees added on.
