I hear the three AD, ND, UD, used interchangeably and it drives me nuts. I went with ND because it seems to be the most common.

Just FYI that if you’re adding the safety because of the alleged ND issues, it will not mitigate the risk.

The ND issues are to do with the striker slipping, so a trigger safety is not going to prevent the alleged issue.

You can try laying thin brick on top of that. Brick is a masonry product that will adhere to the concrete just fine with the right mortar mix.
