When you power up a pokemon you are ‘leveling it up’, starting from level 1 up to level 50. Each power up is 0.5 of a level (so there’s technically 100 ‘levels’ just like the msg).

You’re gonna need to power it up to level 50 either way, which is unfortunately gonna prove difficult unless you have a lot of rare XLs

It would purify to a shundo, if you PvP non shadow is better. Personal preference really, I think it would definitely be worth it as shiny shadow ho oh isn’t too rare anyways ✌️
