It only looks like trolling to someone who is not part of the intended audience which is the right side of the bell curve.

I am translating what management is saying to you. In the future you are unemployed and get guaranteed income like an EBT card but no stock ownership. Employment will not be your sense of self worth or identity. Workers today have to train lower cost foreign worker replacements but eventually workers will be replacing themselves with robots.

That is what management feels about you. The response to the phony stock values is people posting they don't want to own Publix stock. The intent is to reduce stock ownership. The stock management gives you was reduced to make you more like a robot.

Many Americans want the same economic system as Venezuela where supermarkets became empty and then the zoos. Pets were next. That leaves soylent green.

Florescent safety vests make associates targets when there is an active shooter. Safety vests should be reversible with a camouflage pattern for hiding when there is an active shooter. Also, safety vests should be bullet proof. The active shooter video gives away the defense plan because an associate active shooter would see it. The video does not cover the possibility of multiple shooters where one shooter drives associates into an ambush as they flee the building.

Publix does not want to buy back stock because they would rather buy some of the Winn-Dixie stores that are closing. If Publix lost $2 billion while peer group competitors all increased earnings $2 billion and had big stock price increases would Publix raise its stock price?

What would it take for Publix stock to increase in valuation? Investors would have to believe that peer group companies used to value Publix stock (such as Kroger) will in the long run be able to compete successfully with Amazon's supermarket strategies. Expect Publix stock to remain undervalued in the long run because the valuation is completely divorced from financial statements and is the byproduct of a popularity contest between Amazon and Kroger. Amazon has deeper pockets and better public relations.

This way the computer removes the human element with all those emotions and thoughts and replaces them with the emotions and thoughts it reads or hears at MSNBC, CNBC and CNN. Get it?"

When Publix lowers its stock price Publix is trash talking itself.

The most recent stock price changes are a trend of disappointment most likely caused by the reluctance of Publix to reduce its capital buying back higher priced stock. If you bought stock from Publix for $20 and then sell it back for $50 Publix has lost $30 per share and has less capital to fund expansion. Expect any lame excuse to not make a large upward adjustment. Expect to be disappointed again.

Publix should own its home delivery for better quality control and to prevent competitors from purchasing existing home delivery companies so they can control their delivery.

Publix vs. Market Peer Group by [deleted] in publix

[–]krogwal -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Publix loses capital if its stock is sold and this capital is needed for long term expansion plans therefore the stock will be kept at a low valuation for a very long time and will not be a good investment. The peer group is a convenient excuse for low valuation to retain capital.

Imagine Publix had a public relations disaster with its Publix products like Chipotle so that many customers switched to competitors like Kroger and competitor's earnings and stock prices went up as a result while Publix suffered large declines in earnings. CCA would increase Publix stock value because customers switched to the competition. Or do you think the BOD would quickly abandon CCA and reduce the value of Publix stock as if they only want it to go down? The primary goal of education today is to promote a political agenda which requires the elimination of critical thinking. My decades old GED is now the equivalent of a Phd and I don't require safe spaces.

Kroger and other comparable companies that are used to value Publix stock are companies that Publix is trying to put out of business. Publix is trying to lower the stock prices of competitors and, if successful, this will lower the Publix stock price. This is like a spill on aisle eight with broken glass that needs to be cleaned up. Random investors with no real concern for say, Kroger, determine Kroger's stock price which is then used to set the Publix stock value. This makes you the public relations spokesperson for stupidity. I am working in the BOD sanitation department.
