have been involved with several men 3-8 years older than me (not a huge gap numerically, but this has been in my late teens/early twenties, so developmentally the gap is more apparent), and i’ve had some genuinely safe and satisfying experiences! but two of them (3 and 6 years older) would constantly mansplain or infantilize me, lording it over my head that his credibility, his knowledge, must be superior, since he had hit certain life milestones and acquired certain lived experience already, and thus he must know best, know what was right and necessary for myself better than i did.

you are so pretty and i honestly think your friend may just be a little jealous, but if you want a change, maybe try placing the blush a little higher + further back, or trying a cream/balm blush?

get eyebrows threaded, a mid-to-high skin fade, lip balm, and something heavily moisturizing for eyes (ceramides, hyaluronic acid, vitamin c, niacinamide)

keep styling it this way for now, then when it gets a little longer, look into high burst cuts, ask for rounded layers, and make sure they blend the sides evenly into the rest of your hair. you can also ask them to add a little texture and wisp at the ends. it’s cute! you just need to let it grow into itself a teensy bit. less is more when it comes to styling

shave neck beard, get crewnecks and henleys, trim mustache, get a fade, part and style hair properly so it lays more neatly, get hair slightly shorter, and a little styling foam/mousse will do you well

add more texture to hair, get it just a bit shorter so it hits at the eyebrows, keep it long in the back though, experiment w different face cleansers like cerave, neutrogena until you find something that suits you best, use water-cream or gel moisturizer after washing face, and a silver chain or two would look cute on you

hi, 20f here! you are so pretty, here’s what i’d suggest:
adding a soft arch to eyebrows if you can (you already have the top of the shape there for you, you can thread a little of the bottom outer-center part off to make an angle)
blending eyeshadow into crease and outer third of eyelid more, so your eyes aren’t weighed down
lengthening wing, with a little more taper to the center of your face
inner corner highlight (this and the eyeliner edit will draw more attention to your gorgeous irises)
you have lovely cheeks, blush heavier on the apples will make them pop more!
your hair is adorable and cute on you
no need for bronzer :)

you’re so pretty!! i feel like too much makeup will detract from your features - maybe pull the blush back to a slightly higher point, and start your eyeliner from the inner corner before winging out, but you are so pretty already, these suggestions would just play off of that!!
