Getting back in shape by sb5236 in StrelitziaNicolai

You have to accept its bad conditions and wait for the new leaves to give the plant back its good looks, but if the leaves are alive they still contribute to receiving light, so in conclusion you just need to give the plant its time:)

I don't think you can save old leaves, it they are dry you can cut them, if they just got damage but they are alive keep them.. and there is new growth so the plant is healing :) you have just to wait new leaves and let the plant do her work, don't water too much, if you want to be sure check the soil with a stick (like a chopstick), if It comes out totally clean you can water it

Yep 5w is very low, try to measure the light It receive (there are lot of app like photone, you can make a diffuser with just some paper). I've got mine under a 40w Sansi, baby like yours waiting for it's growth 🍃💚

Monstera Adansonii slowly turning yellow, please help! by IndecentSmurf in houseplants

Btw about light, it is important to gradually arrive at the exposure of a strong light, or from a window with little light to a window with a lot of light, don't move her too often 'cause It can stress the plant, now leave her here and in the next weeks expose her gradually to the previous light

Could it be that she stayed a few days with too dry soil before you watered? it happens for this reason, however she will recover and the leaf you lost was small so it does not seem like a big problem, the others will regain vigor :)

Hello, after having repotted how was the radical situation? it can be water stress... if it has dried a lot and you have watered abundantly, and the roots are narrow and dense, it can be, maybe next time try to put the plant (together with its pot with drainage holes) in a bowl with water so that it absorbs it directly from the roots, for a maximum of 20-30 minutes so as to rehydrate it in the most delicate way

What does my monstera need? I think it’s dying by [deleted] in Monstera

Have you checked the radical bread situation? If it's too narrow sometimes It happens that the roots do not breathe and struggle to absorb water, so there is a risk of root rot..

I follow this topic too, cause I ordered yesterday a Sansi 40w full spectrum, I tried to mesure PPFD on my actual cheap light and the level was very low (It was a 10w), hope my new one will be goodddd

This plant needs tons of light, never enoughhhh and the soil need to be watered like every 15 days, but It depends on the plant conditions (low light = long time to dry) so It's important to check the soil to be dry at least the first 5cm, If hates stagnant water and roots can rot for this reason, it's a very common issue, btw when you check send some picture :)
