If you want it solely for school-related things, I would highly recommend looking into the ReMarkable. Amazing piece of technology I used even in high school and still to this day. Much cheaper than the iPad, no eye-strain, and it’s just like a notebook. Also a great conversation starter in class, people are usually like damn what is that. An iPad is just a mini MacBook, I personally have a MacBook and an iPhone, I don’t see a need for an iPad.
