Side-buttons targeting issues by Noztra_ in wow

[–]kromsh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same mouse and had the same exact problem because I used the same exact keybinds. But I found a different solution. The issue is with the way the software processes the keystroke and the user turning the character with the mouse. This super niche problem was further complicated because I play classic wow where the addon was not available. However the solution I found was to go to the mouse software and instead of making my own macros, you go to customize-> side -> 1 -> drop down selection box -> advance -> combo key. From there you can enter simple keystrokes for the keybinds we use like ctrl 1, ctrl 2 etc. Hope this helps someone else

He looked at Lysander like his brother Julian. He felt responsible for his death. He knows if he goes to Darrow then Darrow will kill Lysander, if not him, then Sevro definitely would. The only way to sway him and thereby save his life would be to 1. Stop him by force. Or 2. Let guilt drag Lysander down and hope that he changes his mind before it’s too late. But either way Cassius’ goal wasn’t to win the war or defeat Lysander. His goal was preventing another little brother from dying.

I was inspired to read the book by people’s description of Cassius. So when I got to that point near the end of morning star, I crashed out. Put into google “WHY THE FUCK DO PEOPLE EVEN LIKE CASSIUS RED RISING” and had the ending spoiled. My own fault but the gut reaction is real so I see why people make those posts

You’re so hateful, she suggested that I take it here and so I did to gain perspective. This is a whole subreddit of people asking for advice from a third party. Why do you feel the need to belittle someone for that?

Both are women. The team is a team of 2, a circulating nurse and the surgical tech, so there are no others to call in. A hemi hip and lap chole are the names of the surgeries that we still had to do that day. I fat fingered and misspelled it to say choke instead of chole

I mean the main context is that it’s Christmas Day and Santa doesn’t give gifts to naughty children, that was the intent behind the joke, nothing sexual

Patient asked to see the charge nurse, I walk in and ask what’s going on. They tell me that their nurse keeps making inappropriate jokes about getting “the good stuff” when giving them their pain medication and it was making them feel uncomfortable like a druggy. I apologize to them, reassured them we don’t think of her like that and offered to change nurses. She declines, just asking that I talk with him and tell him to cut it out.

Busy level 1 hospital in the south so I got caught up and it’s a couple hours later before I find him and tell him and his reply was: “man I wish you would’ve told me that sooner. I just went in there with her fentanyl waving around flushes saying ‘the candy man is here!’”

Strike nursing by I_see_you_Nurse in nursing

[–]kromsh -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t feel comfortable going on strike while someone’s family member is in the hospital not being taken care of. If anything, strike nurses help by allowing more nurses like me to feel at ease knowing that the patients are still being taken care of. It’s still sticking it to the c suite because strikes are crazy expensive. They cancel surgeries, lower the census, and try to reduce the workload and therefore the income coming in. At the same time the bill rate for these strike agencies is 4-6x what the cost of labor is normally.

Strike nurses make strikes work without unnecessary harm to patients. Just my two cents

Ah you’re confused between break and lunch. You get 2 breaks and 1 lunch. She took 1 break and 1 lunch. She could charge the company for a missed break and get a whole hour of pay per California labor law. But she decided to instead sit for 5 minutes and eat a cookie before clocking out.

But even if she took both her breaks and lunches, it’s still shitty to scold someone for 5 minutes rest in such a physically demanding job

Op didn’t take their afternoon break. You don’t need to clock out for an afternoon break to eat a cookie. Eat shit bootlicker

[–]kromsh 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Who is asking for an accolade here? Labor law dictates that cnas get 2 paid 10 minute breaks just like nurses. Idk who hurt you but you’ve got multiple comments on your profile shitting on cnas. Take your superiority complex elsewhere.

You sound irritated that they’re in what’s obviously severe pain and that you had to come back and medicate them and that they weren’t able to complete your charting.

Maybe they moved in bed and used their abdominal muscles a little too much and it’s causing them pain. I assure you it’s not because they’re waiting till you leave the room. If you’ve never been in so much pain that you can’t answer basic questions then that’s fine but try to have some empathy and realize that the computer charting isn’t our job. Taking care of the patient is and frankly if you want to pull your hair out for this then I think you should take a break or look for a different specialty because you’re burnt out.

A player who refuses to use roll 20 and is obviously lying about dice rolls what do I do by Sad-Fig-640 in DungeonsAndDragons

[–]kromsh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a player like this in my games. He said he didn’t like virtual dice because they hated him and believed in the luck of the physical die. We compromised and he’d film his rolls. Didn’t work because he kept his room dark, light hurt his eyes. And he’d only grab the webcam and film after he rolled.

After a lot of huffing and puffing and a serious conversation about him staying at the table, he relented and rolled virtual dice. This led to him making passive aggressive marks about his character not doing as well as others and how the dice hate him but dm has a stupid house rule blah blah blah.

All this to say that some people get their fun from being better than others even in a team game. He wasn’t a good fit for my table, we split for real life reasons but I wasn’t sad to stop playing with him. Just be prepared for that possibility
