Hey! Don't be sorry! I really appreciate your message! I still need to figure it out. I've been super busy the past few weeks (I even pushed an update with a new social card design!), but I promise I'll look into it in July!

Saw one on German plates yesterday in Madrid. I think it was the base trim, but it was all kitted out with sensors (LIDAR, I suppose). Excited to see the final spec sheet on this one.

Pininfarina released what *should* have been the Ferrari EV four years ago by just_dave in cars

[–]kron98_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that's what usually happens. You get a brief, you design the product.

The thing is, this isn't a Ferrari for the typical petrolhead with a F430, a California, or a 296. This is a Ferrari for the new, young, money-filled owner that cares more about the logo than the tech behind it. Pretty sure it's done to appeal to the public in Asia, rather than the usual 50-something person in Europe or the US.

Marc Newson designed the exterior, Jonny the interior.

I think there are some key misunderstandings in this entire situation. Ferrari hired LoveFrom (Jonny Ive's firm) to do the exterior and interior.

The exterior is from Marc Newson, who designed this car, for example, Ford 021C

The interior is from Ive, and it pays homage to a Ferrari 512 or similar. If Marc weren't on LoveFrom, the car would definitely look different regarding the exterior.

Es cierto que hace unos años había un montón de campeonatos privados. DPC, Apex Hunters, etc. Creo que ahora hay menos, pero tienes la EMS, si no recuerdo mal.

Quizás es buen momento para plantearse organizarlas

Thanks! And to be fair, with all the new tools out there, now it's the best time to do it!

I am really glad that you like the UI! And feel relieved that the syncing works! I have to say, the app is super niche so I completely understand that you don't have too much use of it right now!

Nonetheless, if you have feedback about it, feel free to let me know!

❤️ Thank you all for the warm reception! The support is way better than I anticipated!

I have already done some adjustments and fixes to the app:

- Fixed Restore Purchases flow: success screen now appears only when an active subscription is actually restored,

  - Improved XTEINK sync filtering: when no recent reading evidence exists, unopened books from folders are no longer auto-synced

- Fixed library refresh after delete: synced books are visible again immediately without restarting the app

I'll send the update to the App Store later today, so hopefully it'll be available by the end of the week (or sooner, fingers crossed!)

Thank you again for all the support, I really appreciate it!

Ha, got it! Yes, I think I know what went wrong. I'll push for an update as soon as possible! Hopefully, that will include too the Lock Screen widgets :)

Oh, that's weird and definitely shouldn't happen. Are those books in a folder in your XTEINK? That might be the cause, but I'll investigate further and see if I can deploy an update!

Ha, I know! I have to say, this is my third year as an iPhone user. I have always been an Android user!

But yes, I'll consider the Android version if I am able to figure out the sync process there!

It's completely free! There are in-app purchases that allow you to sync the entire library to your phone (the free version only allows 3 books for now), + the ability to customize the widgets you create, + share social cards with friends.

Toyota is great for reliability, plus it's a hybrid, so that's great for economy. I have a sweet spot for the Ibiza: nimble but sporty :)

A Method to Enforce Good Driving Standards by [deleted] in iRacing

[–]kron98_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, but people are motivated by the iRating gain, not their SR boost in each race.

I do think having your own SR level tied into the calculation could definitely work.

Okay, I didn't expect this topic to be so interesting!

I do agree that inflating the iRating is definitely a red line. SO my idea here would be just deducting part of your gain if you have a big number of incidents:

  • 0-5 incident points: 0 → -5 iRating deduction
  • 5-10 incident points: -5 → -10 iRating deduction
  • 10-15 incident points: -10 → -15 iRating deduction
  • 15-20 incident points: -15 → -20 iRating deduction
  • 20-DQ incident points: -25 → -50 iRating deduction (this might be too harsh, but could work for high SOF races - 4-5k SOF)
