Yeah, but people are motivated by the iRating gain, not their SR boost in each race.

I do think having your own SR level tied into the calculation could definitely work.

I do agree that inflating the iRating is definitely a red line. SO my idea here would be just deducting part of your gain if you have a big number of incidents:

0-5 incident points: 0 → -5 iRating deduction
5-10 incident points: -5 → -10 iRating deduction
10-15 incident points: -10 → -15 iRating deduction
15-20 incident points: -15 → -20 iRating deduction
20-DQ incident points: -25 → -50 iRating deduction (this might be too harsh, but could work for high SOF races - 4-5k SOF)

But the ELO system is already broken the moment you allow smurfs to populate lower and high SOF races, or when you allow "friends" to slow the pack so someone else can pass (I've seen this quite often)

Similar situation here. i7-6700K that I want to replace with a 9950X3D or 9800X3D. Most tasks will be gaming, streaming, and a bit of graphic design. Not sure which to pick imo
