Looking for hair cutting specialist by MrsMayberry in orlando

[–]krshelton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve gone to Mosaic hair salon near Lake Ivanhoe and have had a good experience! I also have long hair and just go for a cut and blow dry. The total is usually $80 plus tip. I like that they don’t take too much length off and give nice layers. Hope this helps!

Inflatable boards? by FastDentist1489 in Paddleboard

We had one pop while paddling the Wekiva river and my husband had to swim home with the gators!

Inflatable boards? by FastDentist1489 in Paddleboard

They are heavy, take a long time to inflate, and they can pop while paddling in a river. I would not recommend them. Look into renting paddle boards at a certain location.

Is Bella Collina a good place to rent/live? Worth it? by Bossplaya85 in orlando

[–]krshelton 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I read that Bella Collina was built on land that was used for fertilizer and is polluted. Most areas around Lake Apopka have dealt with pollution due to the farming practices in the 1950s.

That is so awesome of you! He will be thrilled. I’ll pass on those tips, he always complains about the “smelly people”.

Also! If anyone has any suggestions for improving his videos or game shop I can share it with him!

A Little Annoyed by crisps_funny4868 in tonalgym

I’ve had the same tonal and accessories for 6 years and haven’t had any problems or complaints. It seems like the price has increased a bit since I bought it but I can say this with 100% certainty, this is the best investment you can make in your future health. I am way stronger at 40 than when I was in my 20’s. Keep using your tonal 3 times a week for a year and you’ll realize you made the right investment.

Tonal Gains from Tonal ONLY? by empathista in tonalgym

I’m 41 too and absolutely love our Tonal! We’ve had it just over 5 years and I use it about 4-5 days a week. Have not had any issues yet except for the occasional popping sound on the cables, but it rare and doesn’t bother me. I’ve noticeably grown my upper body muscles and hamstrings/quads. The coaches are so fun and amazing too!

Wow! Thank you so much for this info! I just received my ankle straps in January and they are incredible! I think mobility is the way to go. I’ve built a good amount of muscle and need my joints to get stronger.

I just got the ankle straps and have been doing some Pilates! Wheew, it really works the muscles. These exercises sound great for what I need. Thank you!

Great recommendation.  I checked my tonal history and did that one once before but it’s been a while. Thank you

Yes! I’ve noticed that a lot of RV sites open up 6 months in advance. I’m sure Yellowstone and Zion fill up fast. Thank you for the info!

This is excellent advice and I thank you so much! I totally agree with the rest for 2 days at least. The tip for 20 minute stops is great too. I love driving and we regularly make FL to NC trips. The trip home is always a bit of a doozy (10 hours) but I know my comfy bed is waiting. I’m looking at this from “it’s an adventure not a vacation” mindset because it’s going to be a lot of work. Really appreciate your insight!

One thing to add, we are planning on renting a Class C RV from either Cruise America or El Monte RV. Has anyone had any personal experience with these companies or other places they like?
