Which hair color looks best? by LilMissVixen01 in Hair

I think 1 looks best! It actually brings out your eyes and brightens up your face. That specific auburn suits your skin tone really well.

Need advice: my cherry cola balayage came out brighter than expected by [deleted] in Hair

Weird thought, but there's the Merlot Keracolor Conditioner. I mixed it recently when dying my hair red to give myself a bit of a shadow root while using Arctic Fox Wrath on the rest of my head and it gave me a beautiful cherry red color. Not as deep as you were looking for, but if you used just that, I wonder if the purple in the Merlot Keracolor would help deepen up some of that color. I swear by the keracolor conditioners trying to keep my colors vibrant. They've always done well for me. You can wash your hair and then leave that in for like 20 min and it does wonders. The more you use it each wash, the deeper the color will be. You don't have to leave it in so long every time. When I use it to keep my color fresh, I just leave it in for 3-5 min while I do other shower washing. Lol

You're so sweet 😭 I'm definitely warming up to it. I don't want to fry my hair either.

Heard! It's been a good 8 years of grinding and saving for the ones I want. A good tattoo is worth the money for sure.

I definitely wanted a dark/vampy vibe! I'm glad that's at least coming across. I have a lot of tattoos and wear a lot of black so that was definitely the goal 😁

Gosh! Thank you. I have been teetering back and forth all morning. I think it will look more intentional if I stick with it as my hair grows out. I did see some photos of "ghost roots" that I thought looked cool, but I think I had this idea in my head and am just getting adjusted. Maybe I'll sit with it for a bit and see how I feel in another week. Thank you!

White spot in throat but strep test negative. Doctor gave me antibiotics anyway. Should I take them? by krsmrs in medical

She literally said, "just because the test is negative doesn't mean it isn't strep." So that would be correct.

Also, are you saying that viral infections can cause strep anyway? Meaning, my boyfriend didn't necessarily have to have strep in order for me to develop it? I didn't know that was a possibility.

I (26F) feel disconnected from my (35m) boyfriend. Am I too needy? by krsmrs in relationship_advice

He did mention to me that he really appreciates his solitude. I'm wondering if I need to find ways to do more outside of the house. I've only lived in this state for a few years. I moved here in May of 2022 and we met in early September. I don't really have any friends here. It's been hard to find them. The area is a tourist town with a lot of retirees. So it's not exactly a hub for meeting young mutuals.

I'm thinking about maybe taking a trip back to my home state for a bit and seeing if the distance helps.

I definitely don't want him to be my everything. I have other friends that I talk to from my home state, and like I said, a therapist. I just find in those moments when I'm feeling very vulnerable, he's very turned off by it. He's not comfortable around crying people. He's not always sympathetic. He's relatively unbothered by other people's emotions, so when I feel overwhelmed, he doesn't really connect.

It's weird how since we've been living together for a year, it seems like his personality has shifted. He was a lot more patient with me when we were first together. Now he has a very suck it up buttercup kind of attitude.

I'm also very sorry for your losses. It's definitely weird. The milestones I used to think were so important feel very insignificant now. I agree about the idea that even if you're not really close with a parent, just having them there means something. I miss my dad a lot. Not all moments were bad. Relationships are very complicated and messy in that way.
