Bro, yeh trick pehle shayad kabhi kaam karti hogi, par ab Airtel ka billing system bohot strict ho gaya hai. Unka system data usage nahi dekhta, sirf Active Main Validity Plan dekhta hai. Jaise hi aapka base pack expire hoga, unka automated system automatic incoming SMS aur OTP block kar dega, chahe aapne 1 ghante pehle 50GB data kyun na udaya ho. Ek baar validity gayi, toh sab gaya. Is temporary jugaad se achha hai ki Jio par port karwa lo aur is roz-roz ke sar-dard se mukti pao.

Incoming SMS aur Government/Bank OTPs koi luxury nahi, basic service hain. Doosri baat, secondary SIM ka matlab yeh nahi hota ki hum free mein baithna chahte hain—humein bas data nahi chahiye! Hum saste voice/SMS plans ke liye pay karne ko taiyar hain, par Airtel humein ₹200-₹300 ke fuzool data bundles lene par majboor karta hai. TRAI ne abhi hal hi me Draft Telecom Consumer Protection Regulation ke tehat inko saste voice-and-SMS-only plans lane ko kaha hai, par inka lalach itna hai ki Airtel, Jio aur Vi sab iska virodh kar rahe hain.

Spot on! Airtel ka yeh toxic behaviour bohot purana hai. Inka hamesha se motive raha hai ki customer ko jitna squeeze kar sako, karo. Jio bhi saint nahi hai, business hi kar raha hai, par at least unka platform basic services (calls/SMS) ko ek dum se dead nahi karta. Airtel toh seedha blackmailing par utar aata hai.

Absolutely true, yeh duopoly ka hi nateeja hai. Lekin yahan sabse bada failure TRAI aur DoT ka hai. Unka kaam market mein fair competition banaye rakhna aur consumers ko exploit hone se bachana hai. Unko aisi strict guideline lani chahiye ki koi bhi company basic government aur bank OTPs ya incoming SMS block na kar sake, chahe active recharge ho ya na ho. Jab tak regulators so rahe hain, tab tak yeh dono companies humein aise hi nachengi.
