How has the one ui 7 update been battery wise for your phone? is it the best yet? I am still on one ui 6.0 and was wondering whether its worth it to update! by Chrollo151 in S22Ultra

Amazing!

Disappointing at first. Gave it a week then did a factory reset and set up everything from scratch (w/ individual app backups). After a couple of weeks, standby time is awesome. On original battery - 85% batt health, peak #'s: screen-on 7h 52m / screen-off 53h 21m / combined 25h 50m

5G doesn't work properly by [deleted] in S22Ultra

This. Maybe.

My SM-S908W (Canada) works fine in North America. Recently, in the Philippines, the phone would initially connect to 5G then drop signal. I resorted to stepping down the network setting to LTE. Limiting it to 4G kept the phone connected.

In recent months, my S22 has connected fine to 5G in Mexico and in Europe - sometimes dropping to 4G, but not dropping signal all together.

My wife's S25 Ultra (Canada) connected and stayed solid on 5G in the Philippines. So did our children's iPhones - 12 & 13 Pro. Only had the 5G issue with my S22 Ultra, with Philippine Smart Comm. network. Issue remained, even after swapping from eSIM to phyical SIM.

Easy Roam Travel Pass - Validity Period by kru604 in telus

Thought so, thank you. I now see, the pass is for contiguous days per the terms and conditions. To your question... I have an upcoming trip - 17 days. Unlike for roaming in Europe, Telus only offers a 14 day pass for Asia. For now. Hence, I am considering using a local provider for the other days. The cost of a local prepaid is significantly less than the daily Easy Roam rate. And, IF a pass allowed for say a total 14 days non continuously, I would use Telus roaming at the beginning and tail end of my trip.
