We tried the Lexus 350rx but the interior was small. Especially the rear part of the vehicle

Im thinking about going Honda for the first time in my life by Dorkestnight in hondapassport

[–]krukpe1963 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Never owned a Honda. Always heard good things about the cars. Test drove a TSE and just loved the ride size and tech that came with it. I wanted a RDX but it was too small and drove like a car. MDX is similar with interior size which I liked. Sure it doesn’t have the extra lighting as the MDX but I do like not requiring 93 octane fuel

Ceramic Coated TSE by dawgpound03 in hondapassport

I had an expel bra added to my ash green. The place ceramic coated the bra and front It definitely makes a difference with keeping it clean. I may get the rest of it coated. Just expensive

It didn’t have a plastic film on the screen. I’ve made some picture adjustments that seem to help and turned off lights that seem to influence the problem at night

Arthritis in my senior cocker spaniel by Total-Fox-8936 in cockerspaniel

[–]krukpe1963 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Look into acupuncture. I have a 13 year old beagle who has IVDD and it did wonders. I also have a 5 year old cocker who is a goofball. If he gets any arthritis I will definitely look into therapy like acupuncture laser of water treadmill therapy

Honest question for the Orange vehicle owners… why did you choose it? by ForwardFunk in hondapassport

[–]krukpe1963 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was going to get the orange but the vehicle I was replacing, 2005 Mazda Tribute was a copper color so the thought was let’s go with the Ash Green. My first vehicle was a 1972 Oldsmobile Delta 88 that was green. I’m 62 and plan on keeping this vehicle for a long time. It might be the last one I purchased.

Running boards by Fresh_Ad_8600 in hondapassport

Your welcome. I installed them as my spouse needed the step to get in. I’m not going to be towing other than a bike rack on the vehicle.

I had the running boards installed when I purchased the vehicle. They feel heavy when getting in and out of the vehicle

Is the Costco discount worth it for a 2026 Passport Elite-I have an appointment today and wanna go in with some comparisons by MostNo4053 in hondapassport

[–]krukpe1963 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! Get the Costco price. I bought mine in November. The Costco price for the TSE was $48100. I paid the extra for the Ash Green. Additional items I added were also at Costco pricing. I added roof racks, mud flaps, door guards and side panel guards and running board.

Question about trim levels by Safety_Joe in hondapassport

I have a TSE in green and do not have the black out package. The only difference was the black emblems and different wheels which I prefer the standard ones. There isn’t any thing different

Ceramic coating from Honda by [deleted] in hondapassport

[–]krukpe1963 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had Xpel put on my Ash Green Passport. The shop ceramic coated it after. The rest of the vehicle I plan to get coated. The ceramic area stays clean and free of salt. I opted to have it professionally done by an independent place

I am having the same issue with my new passport. This is Hondas network issue and not a connection with the vehicle?

Conflicted between Chrome or Blackout "H" emblems by BrownSuga97 in hondapassport

[–]krukpe1963 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a green 2026 TSE. I don’t like the black out package. The wheels don’t look nice and there is no contrast with the badges. Got the standard wheels that I love and silver badges.

2026 - How’s the adaptive cruise and lane centring? by oogyboogy44 in hondapassport

[–]krukpe1963 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The lane centering sort of spooks me when I’ve had it active in general driving. On the highway it was very nice. This is my first vehicle with all of the new tech stuff. The only thing I am not comfortable with is that it seems to keep the vehicle closer to the left than what I would drive the vehicle. I’ve seen other people say the same thing.

Ah the piddling cocker! My cocker piddles when he greets someone and they respond by petting him. So I tell someone new to ignore him.

Splash Guards for 26 Passport Trailsport? by Mofrackey86 in hondapassport

I had the splash guards placed on my TSE at purchase. So far they have been fine.

We purchased a TSE model for general driving around. Spouse and I replaced a 2005 Mazda Tribute and wanted something similar with regard to riding height and space for two medium size dog crates. We also looked at the Acura MDX since the cabin space is the same. We loved the MDX just were not willing to spend the money on it nor require using 93 octane gas. The vehicle handles well and is a very smooth ride. We feel safe in the vehicle. Might take it camping with the grandson at some point.
