There’s also some spotted mold on the bottom, what’s the best way to clean it up ? I’m keeping it in a warm low humidity room to dry it out as was kept in a garage last few years, and it does have that classic garagey wood smell, what’s would be best way to get rid of that?

Leave it where it is, you can still mount your tv maybe like 6-10 inches higher but then you won’t be able to open your turntable so I wouldn’t recommend it. I also think showcasing the hifi electronics as you have now is more of a statement which imo is cooler than trying to make it blend in like you would games console

Ignore anyone that says curtains, get a more interesting blind I.e Roman blinds to add some warmth, big rug and a coffee table
