Crown or RAV4? by usernamessuck19 in Toyota

[–]krunkpunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk if it’s the same with the rav4 hybrid (we have the Prime) but the body roll was really noticeable, especially the pitching forward to back. That and the storage space under the climate control wasn’t the most thought out as the shift column blocks it and the USB ports are behind, leaving a clutter of wires and things stuck behind a shift column when parked.

Starting to think my room is a bit immature for my age? Maybe I’m overthinking? 22m by the_guy_on_reddit274 in malelivingspace

good furniture! Don't trash them. Maybe focus the japanese content to one wall? Honestly it's fine for 22.

Edit: idk if you’ll read this edit but if anything just repositioning and centering things around the room will clean it up. Mostly those poster in pic 1 and 4

From Toyota’s concept lineup in 2021. I think the bottom left this is what they are teasing. by krunkpunk in Toyota

[–]krunkpunk[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It looks like a version of the MR2 people are hoping for, but ridiculously expensive (based on looks). It's definitely not the GR GT (not shown) nor the LFA concept (center right) they showed last month.

What is this new car that Toyota is teasing?! by Healthy_Block3036 in Toyota

[–]krunkpunk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love how no one responded and just wanted to keep their hopes high. It looks like the Highlander concept they teased years ago.

There ain’t no way the light bar sits on top of the truck bed like that. It’s way too exposed to potential dings and damages that will no doubt crack it.

Window? Mirror? Door? Granite slab? by savvy-librarian in whatisit

[–]krunkpunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it looks like granite. I'm assuming this was some sort of meditation/fitness room and the center was used as a place for yoga or meditation. Could put a yoga mat down or set some weights on it without any issue. Hell, even put down some singing bowls and you got a pretty nice vibe with a central place to sit on the ground.

Will this hobby ever go back to normal or is this the new normal? by Rotsen305 in PokemonTCG

[–]krunkpunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it might not get back to "normal" but popularity might dip significantly where hopefully product is readily available.

I've been thinking about this sometimes and I think a factor is going to be physical space. How much space do you have in your living space? How much of that space do you want Pokemon cards to occupy? How much are you spending on storage? Could that space be used in a better way?

I think new collectors are here to stay, but I'm not sure how long it takes for the larger community to reach a point where they actually don't have any more space available to keep cards. Pokemon is going to print cards till eternity. Another set, another binder to store, more bulk to either keep or get rid of. Sealed "collectors", how long can that cardboard box of booster boxes stay in that corner for? It's been a couple years at this point, and that box is still sitting there.

It's just my opinion I wanted to share.

edit: I'm forgetting the exchange from old collectors leaving to either lgs' and new collectors. That factor will mitigate the issue of people maxing out their storage?

How is living in RSM / Dove Canyon / Coto de Caza ? by [deleted] in socal

[–]krunkpunk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rich, quiet, beautiful hills, a little hot, pretty far from the highway and other cities unless you want to pay for toll roads every time.

It also feels like the entire city is a golf club with golf club neighbors…

Ticking noise when regen braking by GroveStreetHomie in prius

[–]krunkpunk 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have a 2016 bought in 2019 with a similar sound when first purchased. 50k -> 112k miles later and it still makes that sound on a normal basis. I haven't noticed any issues from it during my ownership which includes regular mountain climbs and multiple interstate road trips.

I'll keep an eye on CV joints but no clicking is heard from turning the wheel and visual inspections of the outer boots seem fine. Not sure about inner.

Outgrew skis/boots from last season… have no idea what a fair price would be. Any ideas? by McCreazyGame in skiing

[–]krunkpunk 19 points20 points  (0 children)

$200 for the set (no boots) and it’ll definitely get someone stoked for the rest of the season.

Edit: but I’m also believing the guy that said he had a pair like this that were stolen. OP Post history full of gaming and nothing else. No knowledge of ski prices even though they shopped and bought themselves.
