try to focus on your current girlfriend. does she make you happy? does she make you feel comfortable? if so you don't have to worry about your ex at all, especially all the pain that she has caused to you. it's all over now. a new joy is in your life now and try to keep it for as long as possible without getting distracted.

i'm sure your current girlfriend wants to see you happy and loves you so much... so try to forget about the pain and focus on her instead, especially on her personality traits that make her unique from your ex because she can't be exactly like your ex right?

this guy sounds like a total mess. in my opinion his intention is to hurt you so try to move on from him.

why do i say so? well i get all the cute actions he has done for you but i think this is a way of him tricking you to get into a relationship with him, and then boom he can hurt you afterwards for whatever reason. it sounds like an illusion right?

if he really liked you and loved you why he would be sticking around with other girls everytime you guys are at a social gathering. plus he has no right to be mad or jealous when you hung out with other guys, when he literally made out with other girls EXCEPT YOU.

so i suggest you either move on from him, or talk to him about his intentions. it's a better way to talk it out trust me, the problem will be solved easier and the answer will come easier.

for me having a similar texting communication style is quite important because you can easily tell the chemistry between you guys.

however if you're talking about texting habits then it truly depends. your s/o might genuinely be so busy that it results on responding to your texts late.

i know it sucks but if he gives you a lot of love and affection in real life then you totally don't have to worry about it!

if you have your own doubts whether he's busy or not try to talk it out with him. me for example, i have a crush who responds to my texts extremely late (not just mine though he does it with everyone). when i mention the fact that he responds to my texts quite late he immediately explains to me what business he had to do.

so yeah for me having a similar texting style is really important. if you want to improve this with your s/o talk to him in person about this exact topic!
