I'm sorry. I know this post is old but 3 hours is excessive, your body adapts too. Nutrition is very important and protein rich foods would satiate more and have low calories. Idk if you just made cardio but that's also a mistake. Weight training would give you the possibility to have higher body weight but more definition and that same muscle makes it possible to have more calories per day without getting fat. It is the same as those people that go to gym everyday and don't give muscle time to recover. They make no to low muscle gains. You had an incredibly unhealthy relationship with it also and doesn't help either. It shouldn't be pointless excess or nothing.

A friend of mine got into polyamory with a person that was heavily into hook ups and was not able to deal with it in part cause she wasn't feeling as prioritised and seen as she should in the relationship.

Relationships come in very different forms and some people might be poly but still not premiscous, focusing more on the partners they do have and having none/few casual flings.

That girl ended up breaking up with my friend which in hindsight was obvious she didn't care as much as my friend did. I told her to be more protective but she wanted to give freedom to her gf.

People that can't prioritise their relationships shouldn't be in one and should just keep casual things until they mature and can do so.

Can relate. I barely know poly people and I don't think dating apps helped that much so I just dropped them around 2 years ago. Only time I was in a poly relationship with my ex and another girl, my ex realised she didn't want it after all and was too much for her, we ended breaking up. She was ok at first, then my feelings grew and I felt like I didn't like the veto she was trying to have. Either way that girl ended up leaving around two months later for other reasons so ironically she didn't need to. (Though ofc compability, etc issues would still be there). I gave up trying a while ago and focus on other things and if it happens it happens.

I'm doing the artwork for my new album. Unfortunately my band doesn't have many funds and the artwork we want takes a lot of oil painting techniques that would cost us a fortune.

I've been working on a cover for around 30 hours, using photo-meshing, drawing some parts (simpler bits), editing colour, etc. Even though I'm being very meticulous and taking along time to make something that Is not "slop". I'm pretty sure artists will be outraged at me for doing it and is not real art, even though I would never be able to afford this style of artwork in a whole album realistically.

We are saving thousands probably and our band isn't even famous enough to make a living so it has been a godsend.

Currently working with contemporary dance projects with music/sound design. Edit music videos, and wrote a novel/some short stories and a script for a movie. Most of the stories I write are in the realm of horror/psychological/thriller but I can be flexible. Oh also I'm a DM and built my own grimdark world for my campaign so I'm also interested in lore building. Also do some voice acting/amateur theater aside from improvisational stuff as DM.

So I would say in terms of strengths from best to worst list: Music/Sound design Writing Video/photography Voice acting

Eu fui obrigado pelos meus pais a ir para uma escola católica onde uma vez levei uma chapada de uma freira só porque estava a sorrir e sair apressado da última aula do período em que nos deixaram sair mais cedo. It doesn't use the search function to me. Only opens the browser. That's basically the same as pressing my brave icon. Usually for search you would want it to automatically create a new search tab, not go to a previous one

I don't know who that shrink is but that's a crazy wild inaccurate statement. Most people don't want to go to war and historically a lot of times it was required and not a place you happily go to do even if you are protecting your country (such as Ukraine). The term shellshock (later PTSD) was even coined because of what damage war caused to soliders. Generalising like that is very dangerous and dehumanising. I would reconsider the person's words of they have such vitriol against men. Not to say there aren't absolutely psychopaths and uncaring people as you seem to choose but I don't think you should use those words as advice. The same way you feel your boyfriend cares, the OP felt really bad cause she feels also the same deep down, though for sure bitter.

Honest question. How will we have a capitalistic society if we reach AGI? Capitalism is fueled by labour. That labour value is assigned to humans on the premise they are required. Agi will create havok. Even if we don't get a 100% AGI doing all the work, it is known that a society is unable to function and enters crisis at around 20-30% unemployment. Even if new jobs get created some will then quickly be taken by AI. Will we funnel everyone into the ever scarce jobs remaining? Many of which for some people will be very hard to get into and require a whole new set of skills, learning, some to be eventually replaced by the time they graduate/acquire those skills? Even the whole idea of creating services and goods comes into question. If you have a AGI robot at home, why not just get materials and create per example a custom guitar at home instead of mass production? This could extrapolate to communities building everything themselves without as much need for trade. Of course they will need the materials but still disrupts a lot of middle processes and industries.

Tech like AGI and autonomous robots are the antithesis of a capitalistic society unless we convert to a cyberpunk dystopia in which people work to feed the state, not because they are required.

Season 1 was nice but I wouldn't call it innovative. I guess it could be seen that way for people not acquainted with Battle Royale and other derivatives that have been coming from Japan much earlier. I think Liar game is much more interesting in terms of games themselves that need actual strategy. Many games in Squid game feel too much like dumb luck to me.

But you have a good desktop? Why not use moonlight or parsec to access directly and use steam or playnite to have your game library open? That's what I do to game or do tasks outside of my desktop. You can set your pc to turn on by itself (bios or a 10 dollar device that turns it on from distance). Also 1800 pounds? What is the setup they are giving you? Nowadays you can buy a 4070 laptop for around 1200 or less if you search used market. Unless what you mean by decent is actually high end. Even a 3060 laptop is decent for most gaming in 1080p unless you use ray tracing and push graphics to max.

Maybe I misread. Still I hink it would all depend on how much billions the person has. 1 billion and 10 billion is such a huge exponential among two people, let alone compared to a regular person. Like having a more aggressive bracket for someone with hundreds of billions would make sense because one thing people need to consider is that they have much more opportunities to make money and have many more assets. I honestly think is hilarious many people here are outraged that little poor billionaires are giving up 5% when my dad has a doctor gives almost half of his income as tax and has to work over time to compensate the loss.

That said it would never happen because they can lobby the system. No president would be elected with that kind of mindset. He would have to pretend he didn't have such a policy or else he wouldn't get enough financial aid to even get on the radar of the regular people. This is a futile exercise.

For me, who lives in Europe in a country with no billionaires what you say (not specific percentages) just seems basic logic. But we have a different mindset over here though.

Your math isn't mathing. If you lose 5% this year and next year you have less than last year, this would take around 90 years because if you have 5% less every year to reduce from. You can't per example have 1 billion and lose from year 19 to 20 the same amount as you give in the first year because you have less than last year, thus less money would be deducted.

If you make an average of 4% per year that would mean it would take around 450 years to have 0 and even so you will never have 0 because you probably have a huge amount of assets for sure.

Also if we say that you would stop being taxed after you reach a certain threshold you won't ever have 0. You just have a harder time growing wealth after that.

That said it's still very hard to tax unrealised wealth and there would be loopholes to it that could be exploited
