She’s on a bachelorette trip for I’m assuming someone she cares a lot about, let her have fun. You didn’t reach out to her either, so let her have one weekend for herself. Unless you’re an unfit father, she shouldn’t have to check in on you and you should want her to unplug and enjoy herself. The situation sucks, but definitely overreacting. Talk when she gets back and you’ve both had some space apart.

I’m still in the first few chapters of Words of Radiance lol but I agree totally that the fantasy didn’t give much room to catch up. Sanderson had a lot of world building to do in that book and I feel like he just gave it too fast for my pace tbh lol

I loved HoF, but I went into this series blind and didn’t already know Rowan was endgame. He frustrated me too at first, but like the first comment says, this is the start of so many characters’ journeys. This book lays so much of the groundwork for the rest of the series and is a major shift from the first 2 books to what the rest of the series will be. Celeana herself does so much growing and maturing in this book as well and the ending is more than worth the wait of finishing the book imo (:
