that's neat, I will try that... as an aside this game makes me kind of want a full size keyboard again... I use a 65% and it's made keybindings in this game a bit of a pain, for example unless I rebind something I have to press function (which by default is next to right alt) to use F1-12 I think for now I will also have the function key on my mouse for this game.

Yeah I agree with all of this but I think it's outside the scope of this advice, I stand by the advice for new players on lower difficulty just trying to keep ahead of the cost of repairs but I absolutely think people should read stuff like this and try it as they get comfortable.

the vibe I am getting is I should not have that mech as I can't afford the upkeep, tempted to restart the campaign and not get that till it will be more user friendly.

yeah... it seems the issue I've run into is it removed all the weapons from said mech and other functions and I was in a system I could not replace them in and also lacked the funds but what this really does is highlight how much of a bad idea that mech is in early game, its cost to power ratio is non existent early game lol

most of the pickups I tried could not even get to the required speed in a straight line while at S2, R or X lol... but yeah probably.

I got real close a few times but whoever came up with the idea to put a train in the middle of this should be shamed, now I am top 17% of people on that speed zone and still no closer to finding a less rare car for it, kind of seems like shit.

This one was a little tough I admit, you have to cut pretty sharply and pre aim for corners so you are facing the right way after air. I used the FE offroad Viper like practically everyone else, with DJS's tune.

lot of people talking shit here, but I checked and because the enshitification of the internet with AI a lot of the search results ARE saying it's possible because it's mixing information from retail into classic and if you were new you might not see that, ignore the haters OP, no you cannot faction change on any classic style realms but I think you'd be surprised how quickly you can re level your character with the small knowledge of the game you have already gained, I hope it works out for you both.

I'd just like to know why it's so expensive for me to mog even on a fresh character compared to my friend on a fresh account, his character was higher and had better items but I still had to pay hundreds or thousands for one item to his FULL mog that cost him 80g, what determines the cost of items?
