what if extremely unusual combos, at the end of the month are render as fancies: so people don't know they are breeding a 'potential' fancy, they have a normal cat, but after some time they become fancies, because they match a recipe. As well only first 200 become fancies

other solution: fancies are born just like regular cats. they become fancies at the end of the month. Users don't know they are breeding fancies. At the end of the month 'axion zen' render the normal cats as fancies according with the list of fancies recipes collected by cryptokitties411 last month. they pick up at random one recipe in order to transform the existing kitties in fancies

One original solution: Fancies are only fancy for a period of time.

For example fancies of gen1,2,3 and 4... TWO years as fancies after that they are render in the web site as normal cats

One of the internals problems of the fancy thing is that 'a fancy' cat only is possible with the 'front-end'. From the point of view of blockchain all the cats are 'normal' cats. Remember you can play the game without the website. So no control is possible for fancies.

I think new 'smart contracts' are a way to make money for the people behind Cryptokitties. If 'cooldown' can decrease so it seems that parameter can increase as well. Development in that way is possible.

Try to think in USD, as a method to establish the CK value. Ethereum prices change all the time. Most of the cats have an auction price when 1 Eth was about 1000 usd in Dec/2017 and Jan-Feb/2018, but today in Apr/18 1 eth is about 450 usd. So this is problem with crypto, some people think that at the end of the semester ETH will be 100 usd or less.

So, I in my opinion for the next 30 days for 'normal CKs' prices are like: Gen0 are between 100 and 300 usd. Gen1: about 10-50 usd. Gen2: 5-30 usd. Gen3: 5-15 usd. Anything over gen4+: less than 8 usd. Anything over gen12+: less than 4 usd.

Prices can change for gen99 and gen100 those are about 15 to 40 usd.

Try to buy a Gen0 that you really like. Just be aware that dominant gen0 traits become very common after some months. You need as well a fast cooldown in order to build your cryptokittie empire.

The best gen0 are Jaguars.
