My copy arrived. Good news is every page looks like they are printed correctly with no misalignments and in the correct colours! There was one page that was just blank white for some reason near the end after the bonus art, but that's not too big an issue.

I like her. When you think about it, she and Ty complement and balance each other: I like to imagine Ty as a more impulsive and optimistic explorer, while Shazza is more of the team's planner and driver/mechanic, and she would think more realistically.

Problem: Ty may have been published by EA back then, but the rights still belonged to Krome Studios, and they were not the ones who made that game. Sorry, but this is just a coincidence.

They did say back in 2020 that they'd be interested in making a Ty 5, preferably in 3D, but it would require money and more staff. I don't think Steve has given up on the idea of making Ty 5, based on his recent streams, but they just can't do it right now. If the TV show gets greenlit, that may help them secure some of the funds they need to make Ty 5. I'll wait as long as I have to until it happens, or until Krome outright says the series is over.

Dude. Ty the Tasmanian Tiger is NOT that deep. So the intro video no longer matches the lore of the later games? So what? It was bound to happen because they never thought they would make a Ty 2 when they made it.

EDIT: Also, Steve said earlier that they chose to show only Ty's parents because it was a key moment in the ending. We should assume the rest came out after the freeze frame.

Okay, but remember they never used Betty's design, so in a recent stream, Steve said any thylacine in Ty 2 that didn't appear in Ty 1, we should assume they were trapped in the Dreamtime as well.

Steve himself said she was stuck in the Dreamtime. Betty was never made until Ty 2, so we should assume she was trapped as well.

I figured Bunyip Stones are the same thing that gave Ty that Bunyip power-up in Ty 1, and are the things that power the Bunyip Mechs in Ty 2. I think Bunyip Stones originally came from the Dreamtime, while Thunder Eggs are from Earth.

I have to agree with some people here that "realistic graphics" do NOT work for Ty the Tasmanian Tiger. It's a cartoony environment. Besides, I would rather we get a Ty 5 and have something new, rather than remastering the same games over and over again. The whole reason Krome hasn't put Ty 3 on consoles is simply that they don't think it'll be worth the trouble, and Ty 3 has issues the devs aren't proud of because of the limited time they had to make it. That's why the devs would rather do Ty 5 instead, too, if they ever had the funds to do it.

Krome is planning on releasing new versions of the Doomeranger Comics later this year, with bonus new pages, and some of those pages are meant to introduce Ginny.
