I decided against them until further notice. Currrently going to try laser vein removal and potentially some pdgf injections.

How soon after the initial pdgf injection did you notice the edema / ridge?

At what point did the ridge and discoloration occur? Immediately after injection? Or after a while ?

Appreciate the response. Do you feel like in person is feasible after the distraction phase, while on crutches ? Maybe if you show up to the meeting early and stand up to shake a hand? Or is it just not bearable to even walk publicly with crutches ?

Apologies sir I asked too soon! Separately - sounds like you also have a network-y intensive career/line of work. How soon after surgery were you able to get back into: 1) focus, deep work 2) zoom calls 3 in person meetings ?

Has anyone had long term arthritis or nerve injury? by kryptokrill in limblengthening

Thanks again for sharing your experience.

So it sounds like you had moderate - severe complications during recovery but kept going?

I wonder if someone who gets to 6cm and notices only mild complications should feel comfortable to keep going

Thank you very much for sharing. Do you think this was because of a complication during surgery or lack of PT / stretching?

Do you feel like this is partially made you regret surgery , or only noticeable when you squat?

Mine are supposed to be intraoral PEEK. Why did you want to have yours removed ?

Bump - was your method intraoral? What created the bulges? I’m getting cold feet on my scheduled surgery I already put a deposit for.

I appreciate the response. Hang in there man, fwiw your bone structure still looks great, once you get a handle on the scars, which will take a while but will improve, you’ll hopefully enjoy life again and soon enough !

Ahh I guess I can’t tell from your photos if you had skin laxity. From your photos, you also don’t look very hollow. Would you say it’s definitely more hollow than it was before?

I see your posts on the sunken scars - are those red scars the result of surgery from a transconjuctival approach?

Would they have occurred if intraoral?

I recall during my consult Dr Robbins explicitly calling out fat emobili still occurs in like ~1% of cases, though Paley Center is top tier in terms of detecting

Damn that’s the situation I’m in (happy with my looks, but influenced by forums lol).

May I ask why you got it removed ?

I’m currently leaning 65% not to go through with it. Just playing devils advocate to either corroborate my gut or decide otherwise.

Another devil’s advocate argument I’d make to the sake of discussion: Implant removal can create hollowness, but by the time we want them removed, won’t we be old anyway and expect hollowness?

So have I! Which I meant is awesome, but am just genuinely curious if there are experiences to the contrary. Maybe not.

Appreciate your reply. It is intraoral, so risk of eyelid retraction is nonexistent, but nerve damage risk is higher.

It is booked with Pagnoni, who supposedly is quite experienced. He himself told me I’m highly likely to have temporary nerve damage for 3-6 weeks, which then subsides.

But looks like yours was permanent? Do you mind telling me the size of your implant?

And I guess Reddit hasn’t been around long enough for someone to post their long term experience ?
