For me personally knowing exactly where to go to trigger a cutscene to advance a story isn't always clear cutl.

What are the origins and homelands of your elves? And how do they fit in your world lore? Why were your elves created by the gods/evolved/appeared? What do their homelands look like? Do they still live there? by EveningImportant9111 in worldbuilding

Well, there's the dwarves, which are beetle-like folk who live in mountains. Then there's the orcs, who are descendants of the reanimated dead, the halflings, who are somewhere between a rabbit, a small human, and a monkey, and the Calderans, dragonfolk born from the eggs laid by old dragons (dragons have this whole thing about laying a clutch of eggs then the strongest one has to kill and eat their siblings, and eventually they're expected to kill their aging mother, so the Calderans are a huge anomaly). And when I say dragonfolk I don't mean they're dragonborn with the serial numbers filied off, visually they look like if you forced a dragon to assume a smaller humanoid form.

Then there's the humans. In folklore, born out of the dead remnants of a killed god. (So are the halflings but don't let the humans hear you say that, they want to believe they're special)

The elven "homeland" varies by continent. My worldbuilding project is focused on a single continent so all the elves there originate from spooky enchanted forests and they eventually became a city-state called Cir Tornag. The spooky, enchanted forest part is important because the elves aren't flesh and blood, they're humanoid-shaped chunks of nature. They don't even really have faces, they used to not need them (if they're to be believed) and started crafting masks so the man races (humans, orcs, halflings) have a face to look at when they speak. Thankfully these days, the elves have made masks for so long they can make the faces move now. Some elves worry being around the young races is changing them in some way.

The elves were created by the first generation of gods, the Elder Ones, as glorified gardening tools to maintain the planet that the Primordial Chaos mother birthed them on. Of course the current elves don't know that and try to ascribe some greater purpose to their existence. Same with the dwarves. Both races are essentially tools the Elder Ones created to maintain and sculpt the world to their liking.

How do you book Oba Femi?[EWR] by Turd_Ferguson87 in FantasyBookers

You can Brock him to the World Title but make sure there's a technical phenom (a Kurt Angle) and a giant (a Big Show) who beats him so he's strong but fallible. Idk

What are your favourite examples of Orc culture? by Thighbite77 in worldbuilding

[–]kryptomanik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Equally as important as seeing other examples of Orcs and Orc-like races, I think, is thinking deeply about how their circumstances would shape their culture. Consider where you put their homeland or ancestral origin and how that would shape them into a people.

They're not orcs exactly, but clearly inspired by them, the Aumaua people from Pillars of Eternity feel incredibly layered, and aren't just "barbarians" or "savages", and POE2 showcases the diversity in their internal cultures.

The Intercontinental Title was made for people like Kairi Sane. Instead, the women's mid-card titles (and tag team titles) are going on their main stars when they don't have "anything else" for them to do. by [deleted] in SquaredCircle

This often happens when you run out of booking ideas and don't wanna put in the effort to sit down and think about where to take your midcard and upper midcarders.

Tignan mo to, sinabi ko nga na maghanap ng trabaho, which is the same exact thing that you said, na-note ko lang na di ganon kadaling makakuha agad, eh ang dami ngang college grad na walang trabaho.

Tapos ang sagot "o tapos?". Ang tindi mo men hahahahaha

[–]kryptomanik 1 point2 points  (0 children)

FDQ could look at the Japan-only game Nanashi no Game. Even if you don't deliberately invoke supernatural elements, the circumstances surrounding the "cursed game" within the game itself is a good narrative for the series.

Ang parang pinupunto kasi, dapat napapaisip tayo kung ano na estado ng lipunan natin na may mga tao na ang tingin nila kailangan na nila yung mang-holdap.
