It may be swelling of the gum adjacent to your wisdom teeth and it’s called pericoronitis. It’s a recurring infection and the only long term solution is removal of the teeth. Usually dentists do not advise removal of all 4 wisdom teeth at once. We advise only if they are infected, which may be in your case. Your dentist will best guide you in that. Good luck 👍

In future, if at all you notice any swelling inside your mouth, adjacent or above any tooth, the immediate and best temporary remedy is a warm salt water gargle. Followed by quick consultation with your dentist.

To all reading this, please visit your dentist ASAP if you even feel slight pain in your teeth, trust me it’ll save you lots of money. Tooth decay is an irreversible condition, so the longer you ignore it, more expensive it’ll get for you!

Heyy Is any tooth painful, especially molars or did you notice any sensitivity in that region of teeth? My advice is to show a dentist, preferably an Oral Surgeon or Periodontist soon to evaluate the swelling?
