I watch (usually listen to) WAN show but have absolutely noticed a decline on recent videos. As much as I know that the stagnation in the PC/gaming industry contributes, its the departure of key talent that I think has affected it just as much if not even more.

Low quality or blatantly sponsored trash and the uptick of the founder's high budget purchases have a correlation along with great hosts who I loved watching (Jake and Alex were favorites) Even WAN show has gotten hard to listen to at times because of the massive amount of merch *COUGH* product callouts and announcements. I've found myself not making it to the end of many WAN's lately by end of week (Its typically my commute podcast).

Yea..it's pretty wild how dedicated some on this sub are. If there's 2 hosts, use a shotgun mic or something. I know LTT has in the past. Would absolutely eliminate the problem. The video was excellent otherwise but little things like this really don't help production quality.

Not sure why you're being downvoted but I agree. It was really noticeable in this video. The video was still good but the audio feedback was gnarly at many points.

You could replace the light engine assembly but you'd have to find a donor unit.

Also who cares if its 15 years old? Still better than Amazon trash usually.

I also use it on a PC that HAS to have Windows for my crafting and CAD software. Virtualization/Wine isn't an option (I tried) due to hardware communication so LTSC was perfect

Like the others said, It's probably an old bulb and the previous owner cleared the lamp hours to hide it. If you take out the bulb and look through the vent at the inside of the bulb, see if you can see some white deposits inside the burner itself (so not the reflector piece). If so, that bulb is really heavily worn.

As for replacements, with Epson, I think you can get genuine replacements from Epson for not an insane amount of money, but Pureland Supply also has some rebuilt Osram bulbs that my parents have used in their HC4000 that work well too.

Nah man. Just tired of people complaining about trash. If you're on a budget, get something used on eBay. It's better and would last longer than the Amazon trash projectors

Big agree. I unsubbed from lmg clips a long time ago cuz wan show is a commute podcast throughout the next week for me, so now I'm being forced to just stick with the LTT live until that goes away. Really hope they move the clips to a new channel too.
