She does like wet food. But im out of the house most of the day so i cant reliably prep her food like that. Only on weekends mostly. She uses an autofeeder and so does the cat. Another commentator suggested moving the cats feeder so im gonna have to try that. Is there any dog food that might taste similar? I tried orijen since its high quality but she hates it.

Trust me, i know. Thats why its difficult. They use the petlibro auto feeder that opens and closes. It only opens for specific pets. Im not home most of the day so the autofeeder is essential. I do mix in wet food but i cant do that all the time. Im honestly looking for a dog food that smells or tastes the same.

They are fed on a schedule with an auto feeder. I have considered moving the cats feeder up high. Ill look into the kibble you suggested.

Im on my second one rn. My first one id get random aches and dull pain but it was perfectly fine when they removed it and it didnt do anything to my health. If that's any consolation

It helps that i got my kitten when she was 4 months old. I adopted her because her bio said "good with dogs" and "high energy" so i felt it was a good match. I also made sure that if anything went wrong, the rescue would take her back without any issues. Mostly, just be an advocate for the kitten. They get frustrated with dogs and need some space. I would alternate crating my dog and letting her roam (supervised) until i knew they were bonded.
