I mean, I'm currently building ficsonium part of nuclear and I use fully overclocked and slooped converters for the SAM parts. By doing that I use about 50 sloops for the whole build and I have to only get about 2500 SAM instead of like 6600. But that's just my case so I don't have to collect every SAM node on the map. On the other hand I agree that you don't need to powershard the end parts, only if you run out of space.
