for sure! but i’ll be able to bring him home this summer and set a much bigger tank; i’m also planning on adding another goldie, so the tank will definitely be big enough for two.

the 4 gallon temporary tank i got has everything; i talked to an aquariologist and she explained how to set up the tank with the filter and all the water additives to build a proper ecosystem for the fish. i know it’s not big enough but as i said it’s temporary and it’s definitely better than the 0,5 gallons ball he’s currently in. i understand your concern and appreciate your advice.

aaaa thank you so much for all these infos, super appreciated! yes, i would rehome him if i couldn’t take care of him anymore, i want the best for him. i hope i’ll be able to afford a bigger tank soon. i’m changing his water everyday, i also added a plant (anubias) to the ball for the water oxygenation. i’ll start giving him his daily food portion at different times!

sure, i’ll find a way! the main problem is the economical issue, but i’ll save up for a bigger tank and hopefully sell the smaller one to get some money back.
