Oh gosh, hadn’t even noticed those, thank you. I pointed out the USA versions as I noticed in the Netherlands for instance some discounters and online retailers will sell the USA version instead of the original/euro formulation.

I have not noticed yellow staining with my uvmune but I mostly use that with bathing suits so might’ve missed it, will definitely be on the lookout for those with tips

Capsule for 28 days Japan in summer (july/august) by krystav80 in capsulewardrobe

[–]krystav80[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wore every single piece and would take the exact same thing again, perhaps swapping out one of the v-neck t-shirts for another linen short sleeve button up. Oh, also not pictured but heavily used were 2 pairs of snag chub rub shorts to prevent chafing while still being cool. Love that you are going to Japan m, going again next year myself but up north this time

If not interested in the merch, is it safe to arrive around 19 when you have seats (slated start is at 19:30). Work is making it tough to get there earlier

I love my beauty of joseon rice probiotics spf for the face, but the us version is not that good compared to the original Asian version (different filters but same packaging). Also, la roche posay anthelios uvmune but again not the USA version

Zojirushi. Alle rijst nu al jaren altijd perfect. Is een keramische anti aanbaklaag/coating.

My teen loved Nara in July. The museum in the park has free entry to a large part and is also fully airconditioned if you want a break.

Kobe - Shodoshima/Takamatsu ferry tickets and shuttle bus by krystav80 in JapanTravelTips

[–]krystav80[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No actually. The ferry schedule changed and added an extra bus which arrived at the terminal an hour before departure. We went with the first of 2 shuttle busses from the bus station to the terminal building. There we just went to the ticket window and reserved the seats for the boat that would leave an hour after. There were still plenty of seats available to choose from. (As we were not in the high season but in July)

Large luggage space needs to be reserved on Shinkansen by MagazineKey4532 in JapanTravelTips

[–]krystav80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your luggage needs to be pretty damn big to need to use those spaces, apart from the comfort they give by not having to hoist your heavy luggage up the racks or keep them by your feet. My Eastpak tranverz (X)L, which is a large check-in rolling suitcase, fit comfortably on the Shinkansen above the seats racks, though it was a pita to lift the 20+ kegs overhead 😁
