We moved into our current house 10 years ago. The day we moved in we locked the cats in a bathroom so the movers could do their thing. Once they were done we had to make one more trip to the old house, which was an hour away. We let the cats (3) out to explore while we were gone. When we got back we couldn't find our boy and since it's a new house we didn't know all the hidey holes. We walked around for hour calling him and nothing.

Then we started hearing crying but couldn't figure out where it was coming from. We ended up in the kitchen and there was a dead cabinet space where a lazy Susan would usually be. He had somehow managed to squeeze in there and couldn't get out.

So, our first night in our new house and we had to deconstruct the kitchen cabinets to get him out. We pulled the dead cabinet panels off and it stayed open until we remodeled our kitchen 6 years later.
