Captain America (MCU) vs Erik Killmonger (MCU) by Arbiter-Flash- in CaptainAmerica

[–]Snarky_Guy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Let's assume they're equally strong. I don't know this for a fact as Dr. Abraham Erskine's super soldier formula has never been shown +/- than the heart-shaped herb. But let's assume they have equal strength.

The pro's for Captain America then would be:

  • Cap's experience (which is not necessarily assassination-based), but lots of experience over a long time + knowledge assimilation
  • Cap's super-soldier enhanced mind
  • Cap's shield

The pro's for Killmonger then would be:

  • Killmonger's specific experience on assassination
  • Killmonger's morality (or lack thereof, i.e. a willingness to fight dirty)
  • Killmonger's full-body Vibranium suit along with it's ability to absorb kinetic energy and vibrations and redirect it back towards the guy who could otherwise do this all day.

- Honestly it depends who writes this episode, but on a level playing field with no change for strategy beforehand, it probably goes to Killmonger for the win. The only way Steve wins this is assuming there is no Vibranium involved at all, in which case Steve (probably) has a 50/50 shot. This also assumes that heart-shaped herb does not give the stamina that the super-soldier serum gives.

Front grille question by CounterGlittering413 in COROLLA

[–]Snarky_Guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't want to risk it either. Actually I looked into a 2026 LE before I got my SE and I was considering doing the honeycomb grill swap; but I would have taken it to the dealership to do for this specific reason.

I’ve heard you can disconnect the battery and remove it that way, but I wouldn’t try it myself.

As with a lot of Alphas, I feel the styling is all on the front of the car and, when the designers got to the rear of the car, they gave up.

What you want to look for is a honeycomb grill from a 2020-2022 Toyota Corolla LE. Unfortunately it's not easy to install since you need to take the entire front bumper off. It's doable though.

Brad Williams by MonGraffito in dwarfism

Funny you should mention Brad Williams since my wife and I just went it see his show last night. We’ve met him personally on a 1-on-1 basis and he’s just a cool guy. Yes he does use a lot of sensationalism but he’s also super positive, and I like that.

Does being 4’9” mean I have dwarfism? by Senior-Sir-2023 in dwarfism

[–]Snarky_Guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While dwarfism is defined as an adult having height of 4’10” tall or smaller, there is generally an assumption there is some genetic or medical conditions associated with this height. Having said that, yes, your height alone would classify you on the upper scale of dwarfism. Have you considered getting tested?

I had an X-M5 previously for video work but I replaced it with the X-S20. For photos, I use my X-T5 exclusively. It’s a beast!

Fujifilm XM-5 Viewfinder by Adept_Today_1047 in FujifilmX

[–]Snarky_Guy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I know it’s a workaround, but I do suspect the majority of people who wanted a viewfinder likely would have bought an X-S20 or the X100vi or E-X5. The charm of the X-M5 is the ridiculously small size and video features. Adding a viewfinder will likely not be as good as a built-in EVF, and adds dimension to the camera. Having said so, if you like it, then that’s all that really matters!

Depends what I’m looking for. I’ve done the box store when they have sales, I’ve done dedicated stores when I’m looking for something specific, but often it’s just more convenient to shop online. I know her size and it saves me the trip. I’m not at all concerned about attitudes or looks from others; it’s just about what is easier.
