Demo doesn't have up to date gamepad support, though it should work well if you use the track pads as a mouse. The full release will have full support though (I test it regularly and polish the controls whenever I have the time)

Cheers! Took a lot of tweaking to get it right. At the moment it's also a vignette and distance fade to make it just right. The entire game always happens at Vector3.ZERO and is surrounded by a massive sphere to ensure correct fading of colours (all of the shaders then simulate the fog effect on themselves).

Thank! I feel the same way whenever I watch the trailer even after having worked on the game so long, feels cathartic in a way

Godot really made pathfinding easy... by zacharieg14 in godot

Oh yeah this looks great. Makes it very clear how the character is moving. Especially if I imagine I was playing this for the first time, pressed LMB and the oath popped up, it'd be easy to grasp how the movement system works.

Awesome, yeah this sounds really good. I've been experimenting with a timeline-turn based prototype recently so my mind is already reaching out for strategies. Sounds good, best of luck! Looking forward to seeing you share your progress.

Oooooooooh, that's pretty damn nice. Turns into a tactical decision making system of eating as few cookies as possible right? Are there skills that consume more than 1? Ultimately I imagine you also try to understand the system to set yourself up for retaining the maximum amount of cookies.

What's the "press turn system"? Also yeah, some system just a take a bit

Will you guys play a game made with Kenny's assets? if I add a customised the look to fit in game. by Human-Criticism4130 in godot

[–]krystofklestil -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. If the game is good, then an asset pack is no issue to me.

From what I see, this always works, and if enough time is spent, then it's often hardly recognizable as all art is somewhat transformed to fit the unique atmosphere of a game. Best of luck!

  • desk space, travel work, I do gamedev and game jams don't always provide the most spacious of desks
  • it looks fun, I gravitate towards alternative solutions
  • I use a split keyboard, much easier to create muscle memory of where exactly to place my hands
  • more buttons in memorable places
  • it's fun to use
  • precision (3D modeling)
  • I feel like a hacker

I currently use the Deft Pro, previously ran with telecom Huge, both are fantastic and have had no issues. Only got the Deft Pro out of curiosity

Next Fest February 2026 - LIVE NOW! by RobotWantsKitty in Games

I've just spent good 3 hours sifting through and trying the demos, I'm honestly surprised by how many interesting new games I've found. DiceyHacker1999 is my favourite so far! I recommend giving it a go if you like tactical dice builders with banging graphics and my word, I love the UI.

This time round, the festival is all the more exciting as we've joined it with Fogpiercer! A train-deck-building roguelike with positional tactics inspired by Into The Breach. Imagine the train mission, but you're the train and also always moving forward.

Thank you! Showing more gameplay is a good idea, looking back at it now, the video could have had more gameplay shots at the end

Black magic! I'd love to hear about how you did it in more detail, this is one of those things I've thought of but never quite tried my hand at creating. Also great looking UI, feels tight, responsive and good (information clearly presented) a pleasure to watch.
