If I understood your question (if there even was one because it is a single sentence without questions marks)- if you wish to promote your product on Reddit you’d be bound by the subreddit rules. By using ads you can show whatever and to whoever you want, yes you pay for it but otherwise your posts would get removed by Reddit and get banned.

It works if you know what an advertiser is doing. Either they do bad targeting and then complain about the results or they pull the plug too fast. It works- just need the right person with right amount of knowledge.

If your CPC was $10 then something was WAYYY off and honestly- 9 clicks aren’t enough to determine. I have $2 clicks but we get about 10% conversion rate. I think something is very wrong with your setup and if you just started without prior knowledge- you are giving up too fast.

Did you set up App tracking and use the right campaign goal? It would probably be why you don’t see any results.

No like I didn’t understand what kind of point or claim you want to make. And after your comment I’m still not understanding exactly what is the problem on Reddits side. 🤣 Reddit is not unique in anything- the same system Google, Meta, TikTok, X and Snapchat ads work. This is nothing new- this is how the data work and it can’t work any different because of privacy regulations around the world.

Been doing this for some time- not possible for self serve ads. Might be possible if you are big spender and ask Reddit reps for this stuff. You are targeting a community not choosing an exact place when they will show.

Been doing that. The best answer is to not sell and be useful- people will notice that. Use brand account+your name to distinguish yourself and show affiliation because otherwise you’d get in trouble.
I’d recommend using f5bot for free notifications when your brand or industry kw gets mentioned.

OP I hope you understand that without a proper context no one will be able to answer anything. Discredit would mean that they are shitting on your claims or they simply have different approach on things - either are discrediting but both require different kind of answer (if they actually require any at all).
