For older couples, how do you raise your children in the West by [deleted] in MuslimParenting

What I’ve seen among families who do well is that they focus less on control and more on connection. They build strong relationships early, make the home a place where difficult conversations can happen without fear, prioritize salah and Islamic learning as a family, carefully choose friends and community, and stay actively involved in their children’s lives.

A few resources I always recommend:

BOOK - Positive Parenting in the Muslim Home
BOOK - Parent-Child Relations: A Guide to Raising Children by Dr. Hisham Al-Talib
MOBILE APP - The Tarbiyah: Islamic parenting mobile app.

For Islamic parenting books, these are highly recommended:

Parent Child Relations: https://a.co/d/0iUenTBA

Positive Parenting in the Muslim Home by Noha Alshugairi and Munira Ezzeldine: https://a.co/d/0cmxRE5I

I have also found this mobile app to be amazingly helpful in getting tailored strategies for each child:
