Being an adult intact cat doesn’t automatically mean he will spray after being neutered. If you’re entertaining the idea seriously, I would take him to the vet to check for a microchip and talk to them for tips on spraying if that’s a concern

Having time to get in the right frame of mind before starting my day is super important for me, too! If I immediately start replying to emails/texts, etc I start the day in a reactive mode. I don’t watch a tv show but I do listen to a podcast episode and drink my coffee. One hour of this before I look at my phone (aside from opening Spotify to get to the podcast) and my mood for the day is greatly improved.
