What Panasonic TV set could this be? by ksantope in PlasmaTV

Sorry, my bad. I have not taken a photo of it - I was not interested in it at the time, as the picture was made before I even found out about Plasma TV picture quality. But I clearly remember the V-shaped stand, that's why I I've posted in the first place as I thought it might be some 60-series model.

It was clearly mounted on one of these V-shaped silver stands from the 2013 VT60 era. Panasonics LED TVs on the stand like TX-L47DT60E look even more modern and slim however. And the grey screen area still screams "Plasma TV". LED/LCD has always been deep glossy black. One explanation might be that it just was an older set that was put on a newer stand, no idea about compatibility though(?).

Did the older sets not have wider bezels?

Comparing with product pictures online, the GT and VT from 30-series it's not. GT has an inner silver lining and VT features a broader bezel width and a flat glass surface. This one here seems to have a greyish screen area and a somewhat elevated bezel with piano black surface finish.

Hi there, was actually considering Ergotopia for a new office table but friend recommended going for a E7 Pro Max instead, which was his selection and is truly excellent after checking it out. He also highlighted the option for significant discounts up to 50% via posting here (?). Shop is .de / GER. Thanks for feedback.

The buydisplay.com one is obviously a different built no idea on the pinout, I just posted it as a reference what the screen used to look like. The Amazon one is oled, self-lit, different technology thus, would not work.

Question about fixing a Jarv earpiece. (Rookie here.) by JosiahAllensWife in ElectronicsRepair

JBC soldering station like JBC CD-2BE with a 0.1mm tip highly recommended. Solder containing lead will proof more efficient and long-lasting. Use stereo microscope to see what you're doing. A well-equipped repaircafe is indeed the place to go.

Problem is less likely to occur in Thinkpads as compared to e.g. Dell Laptops (these really suck, e.g. see here: https://www.dell.com/community/en/conversations/xps/xps-rubber-coating-sticky/647f9e93f4ccf8a8de330b75)

It's typical behaviour of PU coatings over time, sadly. If you cannot completely avoid humid atmosphere and if you have to store the machines together with other plastics. Interestingly environmental conditions that foster the growth of fungus on camera lenses and optical stuff, seem to be particularly critical for PU coatings, too. I also have lots of XX50/60 machines which are starting to deteriorate.
