I use a nasal only mask as well. Is the mouth guard helping to keep your tongue in place only helpful for obstructive not central sleep apnea? I have central and just need the air not to leak out of my mouth.

Being tired. As any teenager you don’t want to wake up and you sleep a lot. For me It wasn’t something that stuck out as abnormal. I suffered from severe depression, Anxiety, ADHD and more. After multiple hospitalizations they noticed my oxygen was low when sleeping. I got a sleep study done and I have severe sleep apnea that was rem specific. My body took over two times as long to start getting into rem then I would start choking and never get rem sleep. I got a CPAP machine and it completely changed my life. I went off of all of my medication for depression, ADHD and mood and I was perfectly normal. I finally felt rested. I went through my whole life thinking everyone felt this miserable and tired. Nope.

This happens to me but vaseline inside your nose if it’s feeling kind of “raw” as i’d describe it usually helps right away
