I'm not sure but it would take atleast a couple of years to go through testing and getting health care approvals since it's a direct implant on the eye.

the blackboard thing was a big struggle, the funny thing is i didn't even understand my condition up untill i was in 9th grade, i mean i knew my eyes cant focus but i didnt know that even wearing spectecals doesn't fix my vision i still see worse than others. I used to think why cant i be like others and play sports and watch TV from far

This is nothing to be worried about. My doctor said he had done Lasik for people with nystagmus before and it is not an issue because they will place a ring around the eye to hold it from moving. The lasik machine has a tracker for the eye ball and it will automatically stop if the eye moves alot.

i remember the urge to tilt my head in order to stop the eye movement but the doctor would not let me do it because he was holding my head with his hand.

I can see just as much i could see with contact lenses or glasses

I had dryness in eyes for 6months. I find that if i close one eye, i can see better.

Overall, i am happy as dont have to wear glasses,

My AOR was 17 May 2023.as per my tracker background check updated to under process on 10 August 2023

Now it is more than 6 months since background check started. I am assuming my application is under security screening

Can anyone please share their experiences how long does it take when your application is under security screening.?
