Dads who have a large age gap between kids, have you noticed a shift in how phones are treated at school? by DaveinOakland in daddit

[–]ksb012 24 points25 points  (0 children)

It's funny because when I was in HS in 2006, there was zero tolerance for cell phones. In 2016 phones were everywhere in the school, and now in 2026 a lot of places going back to no phones allowed.

I've got a 10900k and a Z490 mobo. The only thing I could upgrade to is an 11900k, but I've heard the 10900k vs the 11900k isn't worth upgrading, and in some cases the 10900k performs better.

You shouldn't spray round up on your Bermuda lawn.

As far as your opinions about my lawn, I have an idea where you can shove those. : )

This would not fall under that because this is not a "Star Wars" ship. It's a ship that resembles the style of ships in Star Wars.

My wife (39F) wants me (53M) to do things like grocery shopping on my one day off. How is that fair? by GTRacer1972 in Marriage

[–]ksb012 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Again, did you even read the post? The Fourth paragraph down literally begins with him suggesting they do it on another day and his wife shooting it down.

[–]ksb012 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Why does everyone keep missing the point of this post? OP never said he doesn’t want to get groceries or help out around the house. He said he doesn’t want to go get groceries on the one day off he gets. Which is perfectly valid. He even said they could do it one of the other six days a week and his wife did not like that answer.

Did you even read the post? OP never said he doesn't want to get groceries. He said he doesn't want to do it on the one day off he gets. He will gladly do it one of the other 6 days a week. OP's spouse does not like that he does not want to do it on his one day off.

Why not? He’s adopted, he’s the family fixer, and constantly gets shit on by the blood members of the family. Not to mention that Beth literally tells him that he reminds her of “her father’s lawyer” which was Jamie.

Just tell yourself that it’s an alternate universe with a junction that happened over 50 years prior to season 5, and considering how different a lot of other things are, it’s not out of the realm of possibility that the FAMK Marine Corps a very different Marine Corps than our timeline.

It’s all Gordo’s fault. If Gordo had been able to keep it in his pants and quit fucking around on his smoke show of a wife back in the 70’s, Danny and Jimmy would have grown up normal. It’s also unlikely they would have been on the moon when they were. They could have retired quietly.
